The latest edition of the annual Euromapping report has been published.
Euromapping 2012 gives an overview of Europe’s development assistance relating to population issues. The report is published by DSW (Deutsche Stiftung Weltbevoelkerung) and the European Parliamentary Forum on Population and Development (EPF), and is partly based on data provided by the UNFPA/NIDI Resource Flows Project.
The 18th Resource Flows Newsletter is available. This newsletter is about mapping of reproductive health financing in developing countries. Providing insight into the allocation and distribution of funding and available future resources points out funding gaps, and helps policy makers to distribute their funding effectively and mobilize adequate resources needed to achieve their reproductive health goals. Bangladesh is used as an example, using data from the Bangladesh country report produced in 2011.
The forty-fifth session of the United Nations Commission on Population and Development was held earlier this year (23-27 April, 2012). During this session, the annual report on the "Flow of financial resources for assisting in the implementation of the Programme of Action of the International Conference on Population and Development" was released. The highlights of this report can be found in the Results section.
